Customer service is used everywhere from the gas station to your financial advisor. It's not something
that is chosen to be used, it's the quality of the service that is chosen to be used. Customer service is
making yourself of use to that customer, helping them with their need. You become that product. You
are acting as helpfulness to something or someone to maintain condition or to keep the customer satisfied.
Customer service is providing a service that an object won't be able to do, so I know I have to perform
perfectly to keep the customer completely satisfied with the product or service they bought. I need to
be as helpful as the customer needs me to be.
I have had extensive experience in customer service, so I know customers expect the utmost service for
the money they invest. With also having experience in inbound telephone sales, I know great customer
service is just as important on the phone than face to face. I personally love people and the
interaction with people, as any of my family, friends and previous employers will agree.
Customer service isn't about helping unsatisfied customers, it's about the service from the start, right
from the first interaction with one. You need to identify the customers need in order to serve it. So
listening is just as important as speaking.
If there is an unsatisfied customer, then listen to what exactly their issue is. Empathize with them and
explain to them what happened, what you will do, or what they need to do, all while keeping as comforting
as possible. If the customer knows you understand, then their aggravation will subside.
The most important thing is to know your product. If customers know you are knowledgeable then they feel
more comfortable. The service behind the product is the value that product will hold. So it's very
important to keep that good customer service upfront to keep value to the product and value to the
customer.
The customer service is just as important as the product itself.
